Located in Northeast Tanzania, adjacent to the border with Kenya, stands the majestic Mount Kilimanjaro, proudly claiming the title of the highest mountain in Africa. This geological wonder is an extinct volcano, renowned as the world's highest free-standing mountain standing tall at 5,893 meters above sea level. It has three distinct volcanic cones: Kibo, Mawenzi, and Shira. This dormant stratovolcano, with its towering presence and breathtaking vistas, is a must-climb.

Tentative Climbing Itinerary

Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport
Transfer to hotel, meet the team, trip briefing and gear check.
From Machame gate to Machame camp
Drive from Machame village to Kilimanjaro National Park gate, enjoying rainforest trails and wildlife insights.
Drive to Shira camp
Ascend to Shira Cave Camp via a rocky ridge.
Lava tower to barranco camp
Trek across Shira plateau, reach Lava Tower, and descend to Barranco Camp for an overnight stay.
Drive to karanga camp
Reach Barranco Wall and proceed to Karanga Valley.
Drive to Barafu camp
Ascend to Barafu Camp for rest, preparation ahead of the challenging summit day.
Drive to summit
Drive to reach Uhuru Peak between Rabmann and Ratzel glaciers. Overnight at Mweka Camp.
Mweka camp to Mweka gate
Descend to Mweka Park Gate and return to Moshi for dinner, and celebrations.
Departure
Say goodbye to Kilimanjaro, pack up, and head home with unforgettable memories.
